About myself

My name is Alberto Rossini. I'm a freelance photographer specialised in nature and documentary photography with a strong passion for mixing the two with storytelling. After a few years working in the corporate sector I picked up a bag, a camera, and followed my dream to be a documentary photographer. Since then my body of work has been focused on Asia and South America.

I am worried about how we are influencing negatively the nature and the life of our planet, in particular the conservation of species. I believe though that images can change people's mind, and as a documentary photographer I can and must have a strong and positive impact on the world and societies through images.

“It is folly to think that we can destroy one species and ecosystem after another and not affect Humanity. When we save species, we’re actually saving ourselves.” - Joel Sartore
